Overview
FortiAIOps applies AI/ML-driven analytics to Fortinet network operations. It is designed to monitor and troubleshoot FortiAP, FortiSwitch, FortiGate, and FortiExtender environments across WLAN, LAN, SD-WAN, and 5G/LTE gateway use cases.
Architecture
FortiAIOps collects and correlates operational telemetry from supported Fortinet networking devices to provide visibility from lower-layer connectivity through application-level behavior. Current offerings support VM/subscription deployment and FortiAIOps hardware appliances, with data and AI processing designed to remain within the deployed environment.

Deployment & licensing
Fortinet currently documents FortiAIOps as available through per-device subscriptions for monitoring/troubleshooting, AI Insights, bundles containing both, and SD-WAN-focused coverage. Licensing is offered in device-count tiers such as 25, 500, 2,000, and 10,000 devices. Use the current Ordering Guide as the ordering authority because available bundles and SKUs can change.
FortiAIOps also has current hardware documentation for 100G, 500G, and 2000G appliances. Confirm model, subscription, sizing, and release compatibility before ordering.
